What is Biodiesel?
Biodiesel is a substitute for petroleum based diesel fuel that is made from biological sources, such as vegetable oil, animal fat, or used cooking oil. Biodiesel is biodegradable, non-toxic, safe, and cleaner burning than regular petroleum fuel. Pure biodiesel and biodeisel blends are becoming available in more and more fueling stations around the world. Many diesel engines in trucks and consumer cars on the road today can safely and efficiently run on biodiesel.

I created this website on my own time out of a personal need, and feeling of responsibility to do something beneficial for our environment and community of environmental advocates. I feel strongly that we, as citizens of the world, need to promote the use and development of cleaner and more sustainable alternative fuels to protect the planet that we live on. We can't wait for corporations, lawmakers and politicians to make alternative fuel accessible to us, and we don't need to.
As part of my commitment to spreading the word about alternative fuels, I promise to always keep this site free to use for the general public. To do that, I need to be able to cover the costs of hosting, bandwidth and development costs.
